  • Who We Are

    The Brandeis Asian American Task Force (BAATF) is a grassroots, Brandeis University based and focused, student organization created to advocate for the needs and betterment of the Asian American community here at Brandeis University. The purpose of BAATF is to gather and mobilize students around finding solutions to issues specific to the Asian American community here at Brandeis. With open membership and a minimized e-board, BAATF is solely a tool for students to use in order to engage in AAPI advocacy within the Brandeis community.

    Meetings and Events

    Our meetings are every other Thursday from 7-8PM at the ICC Conference Room. At each meeting, we discuss a topic or issue related to the Asian American and Pacific Islander community and work on our various initiatives and events.

  • Asian American and Pacific Islander Studies

    Started Fall 2015

    BAATF, alongside the faculty-student committee for the establishment of an Asian American and Pacific Islander Studies Program, is working to create a sustainable AAPI Studies program at Brandeis University.

    Asian American and Pacific Islander Mental Health Working Group

    Started Fall 2016

    The AAPI Mental Health Working Group focuses on tackling issues related to mental health and the AAPI community here at Brandeis. Through collective power and robust discussions, students will collectively act together to identify issues and form solutions.
